Feast your eyes on this new trailer for the upcoming game Star Wars Universe. Revealed at E3 earlier this year, Star Wars 1313 is shaping up to be the Star Wars title we have been dreaming about since the glory days of Tie Fighter. The game is based directly off of the original movies, and is not come campy spinoff that we are accustomed to. The game seems to be centered around laser blasting gameplay, and is so far devoid of “the force.” Blending third-person shooting and action with seamlessly integrated platforming elements reminiscent of the Uncharted series, Star Wars 1313 looks incredible.
Visually, the game is jaw dropping. The trailer reveals an adrenaline packed shot of pure gameplay. There is no doubt this game will be a monster to tackle hardware wise. Because the trailer is purely gameplay, we can probably expect that Star Wars 1313 will require the beefiest computer hardware in order to run at optimal settings.
As the trailer ends, there is no mention of an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 version in the finale, so a console version is looking unlikely. My condolences if this is true, because this game looks like one hell of a ride. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
