If you are a fan of the first Borderlands, looking forward to Borderlands 2 or hell just interesting in knowing more about Borderlands 2… you will want to watch this video above. It is narrated by the rather unique Sir Hammerlock as he takes you on a tour of Borderlands 2 where we are shown everything you need to know about Borderlands 2 including returning features as well as new features along with a deep explanation for the 4 classes in the game, so upon release you know where to get started.
Speaking of new features, there is finally a bank to store the massive amount of loot you obtain throughout the game if you don’t wish to share/trade with fellow Borderlands players. While of course you will have that familiar feel as soon as you jump into the game (if you have played the first title), there are new locations, characters, enemies and lastly new weapons… over 87 Bazillion Weapons with not one of them being the same. The developers have even addressed issues which fans made clear in the first game that the variety was far from what was advertised… so we may look forward to a nice variety of destruction. New additions also include a number of different character customizations from hair to your clothing, in fact if you have played the first one (have a Borderlands 1 game save), you will automatically unlock new outfits for all 4 classes. Check out the video above to learn all about the new “Badass Rank System” which is separate from your normal rank, and can be leveled up by completing certain challenges. Borderlands 2 will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on September 18th, 2012.
Of course you can also catch new gameplay in the above video too… so why aren’t you watching it? The Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition of the game is sold out, however the Deluxe Vault Hunters Edition is still available as well as the Standard Edition. No matter what, so long as you pre-order the game you will get into the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club to unlock exclusive digital content for your characters as well as the new character class, The Mechromancer, for free. We may even have a Borderlands contest on GamersBliss.com – …may. As far as co-op games go and shooter, Borderlands 2 is not a game you want to ignore. More.
