Battlefield 3 Armored Kill Expansion – Gameplay Trailer

Battlefield 3: Armored Kill

The developers at DICE have set out to create quite literally the biggest map in Battlefield history which is the ‘Bandar Desert’ map, that stretches 1,900 meters from U.S. deployment to Russian deployment, not counting the airstrip in the upcoming DLC for Battlefield 3. Not only will this third out of the total of five Battlefield Expansions include the largest map in the franchises history but it is all out vehicle warfare, with Heavy Artillery Tanks, Jets, Choppers along with mobile artillery vehicles. The DLC will also include a second map called ‘Alborz Mountain’ and what everyone has been waiting for, the AX-130 Gunship which is however AI controlled, but does not bother me at all.

If you think that is all this pack pushes, you are very wrong as Armored Kill adds a new game mode called ‘Tank Superiority” which I am sure you can guess what that is all about. There will be the addition of 5 new unlocks for current vehicles already in the game, 5 new assignments, over 20 unlocks for new vehicles, 5-7 flags in Conquest (PC-Console) and it doesn’t end there. Both maps are playable in the 6 main game types and aside from the AX-130 Gunship, there will be 5 additional vehicles. They are two tank destroyers (M1128 Mobile Gun System for US/2S25 Sprut for RU), two mobile artillery (M142 HIMARS for US/BM-21 for RU) and a Quad Bike. It will be available in September with Battlefield Premium Members getting it two weeks early.
