Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Announcement Trailer:
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Game Details:
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a unique strategy game that Ubisoft and Nintendo joined together to create. This is one of the most impressive mash-up games in the history of gaming. The game takes place in the Mushroom kingdom when something goes wrong. A porthole let the Rabbids loose in the kingdom and everything goes array. Mario teams up with a group of cleverly dressed Rabbid heroes to restore the world back to the way it should be.
This game morphs strategy into the Super Mario universe in a way that feels similar to titles like XCOM. Yeah, we know that sounds weird but it’s true. There is something about this that works out incredibly well. Furthermore this is the first turn-based strategy game that we have ever witnessed Mario in. It could seem like it doesn’t fit but surprisingly it seems more than appropriate for gaming’s most legendary hero.
This game is essentially a mix between exploration and turn-based combat. To complement its originality, the development team also announced a multiplayer and local cooperative mode. In addition, this game features four different world environments, and 7 enemy types, mid-boss battles and boss battles in each world. Also, expect to see character old and new in the upcoming release!
In conclusion the game releases on August 29th exclusively for Nintendo Switch!
Likes stated above, this game takes place when a vortex unleashes Rabbids in the Mushroom Kingdom. A giant vortex imports Rabbids into the Kingdom while Mario visits Peaches castle. Things are going wrong as the wild Rabbids don’t quiet mix perfectly with the Mushroom Kingdom. Along the way, Rabbids get into some trouble and go sour creating much of the games conflict. Its becomes the team of Mario and his Rabbid allies job to set the Rabbids free of their mutated forms and resolve the vortex issue.
The main villain of the game is none other than Bowser Jr. The plot unfolds more and more as familiar heroes join your squad to help defeat the seemingly ever growing threat.
