The Xbox’s main panel during San Diego Comic Con 2017 features Terry Crews in Crackdown 3. The guests that arrived for the panel that took place on Saturday July 22nd were surprised when the special guest turned out to be famed star, Terry Crews. Needless to say, the rest of the panel was full of fun, laughs and a badass explosive look at what’s to come for Crackdown 3.

While the panel did shed light on some aspects of the game, the main thing that stole player’s attention was Terry and his story as to why being a part of a game like Crackdown is so important to him. The staff did not allow recording of the event of any kind however its felt that Terry’s reason for being involved in the video game industry is more than suitable to share.

Terry Crews took interest in video games after watching his son watch another gamer play something online. He laughed as he announces to the audience how confused he felt as to why his son was watching someone else play rather than playing himself. After sharing this moment with his boy he realized something important; that he had no clue what it was that his son was doing. Terry wanted to make games a part of his life because they were a part of his sons.

Terry’s involvement did not stop at curiosity. He wanted to get in deeper so he took on the project of building a computer with his son. After watching a number of tutorials online he and his son built a computer that wouldn’t turn on. That just about drove him nuts until he took the thing into best buy and figured out that it didn’t turn on due to him pressing the wrong button.

At first glance it’s easy to see why someone like Terry Crews would take the roll as the “Daddy Duck” in Crackdown 3. It’s nice to learn that the involvement and care for the game is much more than what the eye can see.

Now, Terry is enjoying his time playing Player Unknown Battleground with his son. He appreciates how fast and intense the game is. He even compared its fast-paced nature to his feelings towards Crackdown. Its fast, it is intense and it most definitely fits with Crews’ personality.
