GamersBliss.com: What platforms do you play on?
REDinFamy: I play all but I favor PlayStation’s line ups – PS4 I am ready for you baby !!
GamersBliss.com: What is your favorite genre?
REDinFamy: I use to be an all out RPG girl, I still dabble back into it with action types like my fav Borderlands. JRPGs are making a comeback so I may return; now I frequent shooters a lot. I cannot wait to D-stroy people on Battlefield 4.
GamersBliss.com: What is your biggest accomplishment in gaming?
REDinFamy: Finally beating Lion King on Sega Genesis, yes, because as a kid that game provoked me to break at least two controllers of mine, and my Simba never became king. So I finally beat it
GamersBliss.com: What other hobbies do you have besides gaming?
REDinFamy: Watching anime or reading manga.
GamersBliss.com: Do you Cosplay?
REDinFamy: I would love to start; a lot of friends and people who follow me say I should start getting into cosplay. I think it would be a fun new hobby to get into because I like a lot of characters.
GamersBliss.com: What is the best costume that you have done?
REDinFamy: Does wearing a yellow turtle neck up to your face with black hoody counts? As Scorpion of course.
GamersBliss.com: Is there any costume that you would like to do or have planned for the future?
REDinFamy: I would love to do a female version of Gambit. I think it would be awesome to give the character a women’s touch. He is one of my favorite X-men aside from Storm.
GamersBliss.com: Would you ever date a gamer?
REDinFamy: Of course and I have. I think sharing gaming in common is wonderful. I want a big gaming wedding one day. It will be epic!
GamersBliss.com: Is there any video game character that you have a secret crush on?
REDinFamy: Kazuma Kiryu from Sega’s Yakuza, I think he is sexy, hats off to Toshihiro Nagoshi.
GamersBliss.com: What is the most fun experience you ever had playing a game?
REDinFamy: The most fun experience I had playing a game was recently when my brother and I played Rayman’s Legends. It is too fun getting through the levels and also blaming each other on who messed up.
GamersBliss.com: Do you play online? If so, are you all of a sudden seeing an extreme chivalry from guy gamers even though they do not know you, or is it the opposite?
REDinFamy: Being a woman online gaming is very interesting, I have experienced some type of chivalry when this guy was very angry and decided to call me out my name because of small trash talk. The rest of the guys in the lobby just started bashing him for getting angry over being beat by a girl. It happens here and there but for the most part I always have to dish out more trash talking to end the hate.
GamersBliss.com: What is the hardest game you have ever played?
REDinFamy: The new indie game Cloudberry Kingdom, is pretty intense.
GamersBliss.com: Is there any game that you feel particularly good at?
REDinFamy: I am real good at shooters so games like Battlefield, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Halo etc I get very competitive
GamersBliss.com: Have you attended any video game events?
REDinFamy: Yes, as a journalist in the video game industry I get to go to the VGAs, E3, PAX expos and other video game events, also tournaments to cover. I get to meet a lot of interesting cool people whether they are gamers or industry people.
GamersBliss.com: How many hours per week do you spend gaming?
REDinFamy: Since I’ve been pretty busy covering video games I try to make time to actually sit down and binge. So I would say 20- 30 hours a week, if I am lucky.
GamersBliss.com: Do your friends know that you’re a gamer?
REDinFamy: Yes, in college my friends would watch me compete in Halo 2 and I got some interested in video games. Most of my friends are gamers and are some of the most awesome friends I could have.
GamersBliss.com: Do you collect video game memorabilia? If so what is your favorite piece?
REDinFamy: Well over the past couple of years I collect swag I get from events. So far I have a special edition Skylander that I truly adore. I need to get my weight up a bit, I use to have a lot of gaming stuff from my childhood but it got lost: (.
