Without further blabber, here’s the video:
The online game promises to be wide-open, with new mechanics, a plethora of missions/ things to do, tons of stuff to upgrade. Basically this looks like WoW, but with blackjack… and hookers.
But seriously it looks like they have their stuff together on this, it looks huge, immersive, and like it’d be worth the price of a game by itself. Honestly I’m kind of surprised this is just a part of the game. In the age of DLC it’s a huge gift to the gamers to be including this in the price of the already huge and incredibly detailed single player campaign. Sure it’s not going to be available at launch, but whatever, gives us time to get through the single player before jumping online and wreaking havoc.
This really shows how smart Rockstar is, by packaging this HUGE online game with an already gigantic single-player, they are not only making sure that their consumers are satisfied with their product and feel they are getting their money’s worth, but they are also locking in future consumers for any additions, in-game purchases, and DLC for the upcoming title. I guarantee there will be outfits, skins, guns, cars, and other shenanigans to purchase, something that I personally wouldn’t mind doing considering how much is coming for 60$ for this game.
Many people are still questioning whether it’s coming to the PC.
It will, don’t worry, just later, they want to sell as many copies before they release it for PC where it is likely to be a victim of piracy.
On thing’s for sure, we’re going to see some crazy fun mods once it does.
Can’t wait to dive into this, what are you looking for online? What do you think you’ll spend the most time doing? racing? robbing? driving around and just doing jumps?
The possibilities look truly endless!
