No Shows @ E3

E3 has ended and most of the big blockbusters stepped up to the plate and hit a home run (My personal favorite being Metal Gear Solid 5 and how it is turning into an open world… just awesome). Sure there were some nice surprises like Kingdom Hearts 3 being announced, Mad Max making his return and Destiny finally showed some gameplay (Which looked really cool by the by. It kinda looked like Borderlands without the cell shading which = awesome). Sorry got sidetracked but I’m sure many gamers out there were sad or disappointed that some of the games they wanted to see were not revealed or even talked about. Here are some things we were hoping to see:

Fallout 4

There have been rumors floating around that after they stopped making DLC for Skyrim, the wonderful people of Bethesda would be working on another project (And no it’s not just Elder Scrolls: Online or the Evil Within) There have been hints from the voice actor who voiced Three Dog in Fallout 3 that something was in the works. Was hoping for a trailer to start with the phrase “War…. War never changes” and then WAM! Fallout 4 title screen popping up with a Brotherhood of Steel soldier staring you down (Can you tell I gave this a lot of thought). I guess that’s the truth no matter how bad it hurts (Yay Three Dog quotes)!

Grand Theft Auto 5 Gameplay/Details

Rockstar Games pride themselves on showing in game footage of games because they typically are amazing looking (Just look at their track record, LA Noire, Max Payne 3, Grand Theft Auto IV, Red Dead Redemass effectmption.. I could keep going on). With all of the screen shots being released you would think they would have some gameplay ready to show for the gamers. They have even demoed some gameplay for a lucky select few of a bank robbery mission where you can switch between the 3 characters in the heat of battle. At Sony’s press conference, they did reveal a Grand Theft Auto V PS3 bundle but who is really going to want to purchase a PS3 bundle 2 months before the PS4 is going to be released? If there was ever a time to capture the spotlight, E3 was it. I do hope they show some gameplay soon as I am itching to take control of Trevor and reek some havoc!

No New Zelda U Info/Screenshots/Gameplay

As many people know, the WiiU is a sinking ship right now and they really need to pull out the big guns in order to get their ship to stay afloat. What better way to do this than to give some details about the new Zelda they are working on? This would keep people interested in the WiiU system and potentially if they had a decent lineup of games leading up to the new Zelda game, more people would pick up the WiiU. We are excited for the Super Mario World 3D that is coming out later this year.

Last Guardian

Even though Sony really took the cake at E3 (And no the cake is not a lie) from Microsoft, they had some really good chances to kick them when they were down. One way to do that would be by sharing some info about the exclusive PS4 title, The Last Guardian. It seems like there is a better chance of Final Fantasy VII being remastered than to see this game in the works but hey good things take time. Hopefully Sony is hard at work on this title and will announce some info soon. In the meantime, RPG fans will have to utilize their time with something else.

New Mass Effect Game Info

While Bioware did show a great trailer for their new Dragon Age: Inquisition game, they didn’t mention anything about the Mass Effect game that they are working on. I know you will not be playing as Commander Shepard (Though he could possibly be in the game though) but what about a time period, an idea or a teaser of what race you will be able to play as? Could you play as a Krogan, Batarian or maybe even the Volus (Just kidding, no one wants to be Volus). But you get the point. I guess while we’re waiting, we can listen to Mordin sing to us… or not…

Rainbow Six: Patriots

After a jaw dropping trailer was released over a year ago (Seen on Ubisoft’s Youtube page here:  we really haven’t got too much more information about this game.  We were hoping for another trailer about the game but it looks like Ubisoft may have their hands full working on Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. Hopefully this won’t be another situation like Ghost Recon: Future Soldier where it took forever and a day for them to release the game (Even though it was a lot of fun on a side note).

Were there any games that you wanted revealed or more info about? Let us know what you were looking for.
