A Tribute to the Music of the Grand Theft Auto Series (What’s Your Favorite?)

Have you ever played a Grand Theft Auto game? If you haven’t… welcome to Earth.  Anyway.. to a lot of gamers, Grand Theft Auto was a great way to reek havoc on a city by driving on the wrong side of the road, beating up hookers and stealing their money, driving a tank through the center of town, or just seeing how long you can survive by having the entire police force after you (Which is not easy might I add). All of this is fun to do in the game but you know what made it that much better, the music. Every game seemed to have that one tune that when it played, you felt like… shall I say… a boss. Well, as a tribute here at Gamersbliss.com we decided to put together our favorite tracks from the Grand Theft Auto series and compare it to what your favorite tune was.

*Not in any particular order*

Trouble Funk – Pump Me Up (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)

America – A Horse With No Name (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas)

Craig Gray – Fade Away (Grand Theft Auto: 3)

The Buggles – Video Killed The Radio Star (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)

Ice Cube – It Was A Good Day (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas)

Alex Gopher – Brain Leech: Bugged mind Remix (Grand Theft Auto: 4)

Michael Jackson – Gonna Be Startin’ Something (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)

Guns & Roses – Welcome To The Jungle (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas)

Cool & The Gang – Summer Madness (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)

Foreigner – Waiting for a Girl Like You (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)

i have no idea why, cause its not really a genre i dig, but i think i had a long time feeling like a gangster when Swizz Beats Top Down for a while.

I came to my senses and you have to love LCD Soundsystem’s Get Innocuous! It was on the trailer for god’s sake! Was so hyped
