Zelda, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros. Wii U games Listed on Walmart for a Q4 2013 Release

Walmart

Walmart has listed a new batch of place holders for Wii U titles. All of these titles have been announced, yet no official statements have been made after. While this is exciting news for Nintendo fans it must be pointed out that the Q4 release dates are not concrete. However, seeing that the super store has listed them on their website is exciting news none the less. Even more intriguing is what the site lists as new information on the Zelda title.

Mario Kart Wii U

“Mario Kart Wii U (Working Title), a Nintendo console exclusive, is a pre-release action racing game to be released in December of 2013.”

Zelda 2 RPG Wii U

The Legend of Zelda Wii U (Working Title), a Nintendo console exclusive, is a pre-release general action game to be released in Q4 of 2013.

Fire Emblem Wii U

Super Smash Bros. Wii U

Mario 3D Wii U

Before you throw a fit and say what if the listing was for the Gamecube remake of the The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, calm yourself and see the placeholder for a SEPERATE GAME.

Mario Kart is indicated to come out in December of 2013, which if true would be exciting news to Nintendo fans. It should also be noted that Super Smash Bros. Wii U has an image for cover art, which may indicate the game is coming out sooner than the others. I guess we will have to wait and see what this all means once Nintendo officially makes a statement.

I hope those prices aren’t right on Walmart’s website no way those games are worth $100 especially if they’re non collectors editions.

I’m sure they aren’t, Nintendo wouldn’t sell some of their biggest and most popular franchises for crazy prices like that. Besides, Nintendo might make them cheaper actually, as they are unfortunately in a predicament…
