Mass Effect 3: Citadel the last DLC for the franchise


Electronic Arts has announced new DLC for Mass Effect 3 for both the campaign and multiplayer, the free Reckoning pack which will release on February 26th includes new maps, character kits, upgrades and fixes to the games online component.

Now let’s talk about Citadel shall we? Launching March 5th this final DLC proves to put us gamers on an emotional roller coaster ride for our favorite characters, discovering new locations in deep space couldn’t get better. As this may be the last DLC it will also provide a proper send off to Commander Shepard as well *Salutes* Citadel will cost $14.99 on PS3 and PC and 1200 MS Points (£10.28 / €14.40 / $15) on Xbox 360. Casey Hudson the executive producer for Mass Effect had this very lifting quote for gamers and fans of the series revolving on how the team felt about the game.

“The team has poured heart and soul into” Reckoning and Citadel. “As the launch of these chapters near, the feeling around the studio is bittersweet. We have always been humbled and driven by the passion of our fans for the Mass Effect trilogy. We hope fans will enjoy spending more time with some of their favourite characters — we have certainly enjoyed spending time creating them. We’re excited to release this final send-off for the trilogy and move forward into the future of the Mass Effect universe.”
