Convenience store chain Lawson of Japan celebrates the re-release of Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden with limited edition Dragon Quest themed plastic bags. Starting Saturday, January 26, Lawson will be handing out these cute plastic bags to its customers with every purchase... or almost every purchase. You will probably need to buy something that would warrant the need for a bag, but that shouldn't be an issue. The real concern for those who plan on getting one is its limited supply. Getting hyped about getting your hands on what could be a rare memorabilia, practically free, and finding out they've run out isn't the most pleasant feeling, especially when you realize some customers will probably end up throwing the bags away. Of course, the idea behind this is to commemorate the release of DQVII for the 3DS, so just the thought of people walking around with these bags and showing love for the franchise is enough to put a smile on my face.
The plastic bags come in two different colors, each a different size, depicting a blue slime and the orange she-slime. Whether you get to choose which bag you get I do not know, but what I do know is that I would settle for either one, considering I do not live in Japan and will
most likely get none as a result. Oh well, we would probably be lucky to see a western release of Dragon Quest VII anyway, though the odds seem to be in favor.
