Trials Evolution is a fun and easy to pick up downloadable arcade for PC and Xbox 360. This game has a simple goal; get your character, a motorcycle stuntman, from one side of the screen to the next until the goal is reached. The challenges come into play when deadly obstacles are placed in your path and it’s your job to get past them to pass the level. The objective is simple, get through the obstacles as fast as possible to reach your goal but the trick is that it sounds a lot easier than it is. One of the cool elements to the game is that it is played in 2D with 3D surroundings making it a rare 2.5D experience for players; simply played but somewhat visually stunning. There is a multiplayer mode that can be played locally or online which can also be a world of fun! Competing against friends can be even more challenging than the game itself. One of the main beauties of the game is the challenge though. It can get pretty darn hard but once you get past the part you are stuck on the satisfying feeling that takes over your body is totally worth it. Trails Evolution might not be the game that gives you the best of the best story but it will provide you with an entertaining game in what feels like a classic arcade style.
