Who’s the Better Assassin, Ezio or Connor?

AssassinsCreed

The Assassin’s Creed series is one of the most popular series in today’s video game market. Players fell in love with the historical references, unforgettable story and beautiful surrounding. Every game to release in this series is nothing short of breath taking. Over the past few years the game has grown near and dear to players across the globe. One of the main reasons that this game is so likable is because of the love for of each titles protagonist, not Desmond Miles, but that of his ancestors. Each game features one of main character, Desmond’s beloved ancestors making them the actual ‘main character’ of the game.

Over the release of each game there have been great admire placed for each of the three ancestors players have met but none more than what is seen with both Ezio and Connor. Ezio grew on players over a course of time with Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. Gamers have just recently met Connor in Assassin’s Creed III but felt an immediate attachment to the new character. So out of the two fan favorite assassin’s which one do players find more interesting?

Ezio is an Italian badass. He was the type of character that players wanted to be just like. Ezio had all the coolest fighting moves and all the smoothest lines to say at just the right moment in time. There was an oar around him that made him one of the most likable characters in gaming. Players watched as he grew up and immediately took interest in the way his story connected to that of Desmond’s. He knew how to use those hidden blades flawlessly and spoke Italian with perfect slurs at the most ideal times. Ezio turned out to be an all-around badass that the players not only loved to control but loved to embody.

This character seemed unstoppable and captured player’s attention for more than just a game. Gamers stuck by Ezio’s side for three main titles and loved almost every second of what was experienced. Some players even took their love for Ezio to the next level when it came to Cosplay. Not only did this character stand-out in gaming but he quickly became one of the most often Cosplayed characters over the years. Ezio stepped out of the screen and straight into player’s hearts, as he could be considered one of the most beloved characters of this gaming generation.

To counter the immense love players found in Ezio, Connor has made a huge debut in Assassin’s Creed III. He is a character that players can find connectable and compassionate. Connor is an assassin who wears his heart on his sleeve and shows that his passion lies in the well-being of those he cares about. When players meet Connor it is as if he is a part of his own game, although still to tie in with what is going on with Desmond very well, there is an immediate interest in Connor and his story. Connor is an assassin with a heart of gold; he loves his people and his land and will do anything to save it.

Connor turned out to be an immediate success which was predicted to be unlikely to follow that of the admiration players had for Ezio. Although Connor has only appeared in Assassin’s Creed III and it can be argued that he is not as well known as Ezio, he is still right up there in the most likable assassin in Assassin’s Creed scale. Connor is compassionate and a character that players defiantly want to see more of.

Whose side are you on? Does Ezio or Connor stand out more in terms of the more likable assassin? Both characters have huge plus sides and they are both very much liked by the community. This point can be extended far further than just these two assassins with Altar and Desmond as well. Eizo, Conner is boring as shit I had more fun playing his dad who seems like a pimp.

Conner is like that boring tree hugger you know that doesn’t smoke pot.

I personally thought the AC3 Storyline was really poorly done, and that it didn’t provide smooth transition entirely through, alot of things seemed to cut off and not mend together. I thought that Conner wasn’t as kind hearted, and I absolutely hated the Assassin guild system and it’s lack of connection to Conner and lack of customization.

Connor is the better Assassin hands down, no contest…Ezio was never in it for the Assassins..he spared Rodrigo, A FUCKING TEMPAR, because he grew out of revenge ?? Dafuq? Who cares about revenge ?? that`s his Job…Connor hunted the templars till the end, even when he found out that they had nothing to do with his mother`s death…Connor all the way you idiots…pay attention to the game you play next time

How could you not know that Ezio matured by the choices he made in brotherhood he became more for the assassins and allowed Rodrigo to die he spared the innocent people who weren’t templar’s such as Rodrigo’s daughter even though she was known for being cruel and he evolved into a much better assassin with age as for Connor he can’t even be half as good as Ezio in fact the Ezio who was just starting out as a assassin could probably beat him
