PSAllStarsBattleRoyale

GamersBliss.com has recently had a treat of attending an event known as PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale LA BeatDown hosted by iam8bit studios. This event was in celebration of the upcoming launch of PS All-Stars Battle Royale and was for fans of all ages! This was a one-of-a-kind event, set up like a party for fans of the upcoming PlayStation exclusive hit. This party was for fans enjoyment and it featured the compete PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale game, entire character roster, a photo booth with props, food truck and open bar and we can’t forget about the great swag. Watch our video below for a quick walkthrough of some of the remarkable things at the event.

Like we said above, the LA BeatDown event had the complete game and character roster. There was multiple game stations set up for gamers to get a hands on try of the game. There were options to play some never before seen levels and everyone was able to try out which ever character they saw fit. Each game station drew in quite a crowd but none larger than the swarm around the big screen. A screen larger than life hosted special matched of fans challenging members of the development team. It was entertaining to see people try their luck against those who actually worked to create the game. These matches went either way so it wasn’t like gamers challenging the team had no chance but it was still fun to watch. The big screen games proved to be one of the most popular attractions of the night.

Attendees also truly enjoyed the photo booth. There was a background of a PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale level and two tables full of props. Fans were able to choose a prop and get their picture taken with the prop in an actual scene from the game. Some of the props included SweetTooth’s Mask, Kratos blades, a Toro head cover, Nathan Drake gun holsters and a slew of different weapon choices. It was a fun way for fans to really ‘get into the game’.

Another popular aspect of LA BeatDown was the food truck and of course open bar. People were treated with a variety of food options on a deluxe food truck as well as an open bar full of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Fans describe these elements as “added fun to an already great night.”

Lastly, it wouldn’t be an iam8bit event without great and exclusive swag. The first 500 attendees were able to get their hands on an exclusive (never to be produced again) PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale shirt and poster. These shirts and the poster were sought after for their value but they looked great too. Both the shirt and the poster featured the complete cast of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale characters in great poses!

Overall, this event was something no PlayStation fan should have missed. It was an all around fun atmosphere that proved to be nothing less than a joyous time. It was a great place to get your hands on the game before it is released and a fantastic place to meet people with the same interests and passions as you. Just as the event wasn’t one to forget the game surly won’t be either. This is a game for the PlayStation players, a game that features fan favorite characters and plots them against each other in an ultimate brawl; what’s there not to love? PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale comes out exclusively for the PS3 and PS Vita on November 20th.
