Rockstar Games will be releasing the next DLC pack for Max Payne 3 which will be called ‘Hostage Negotiation’. It will include four brand new multiplayer maps as well as a bunch of new weapons and items. Also included in the DLC pack is a new faction called the ‘Filhos De Ogum’ along with their new custom avatars. The new maps are Club Moderno, which is a night club, Estádio Do Galatians taking place in a stadium, the O Palácio Strip Club and Favela Heights. As for weapons you will get the M24 Sniper Rifle and the IA2 Assault Rifle. When it comes to the items there is the new Explosive Burst for explosive booby traps, a Bomb Suit that helps protect you against explosive damage and lastly, the Intimidation Mask which causes your enemies to have a slower reload time.
The Hostage Negotiation Pack is free to Rockstar Pass owners but will run everyone else 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99 available later this Fall. With the delay of the DLC, Rockstar is planning on releasing chrome weapons for free to all social club members as an apology. They stated the following:
“Our apologies to Max Payne fans who’ve been waiting for this one and the other upcoming packs – we’re working hard to bring you this and all the other DLC and should have a release date to announce for this next pack very soon.
“As a special thank you to all Max Payne 3 multiplayers for your support and patience, look for the release of an all-new chrome weapons bonus, which will be redeemable by all Social Club members free of charge. We’ll have more info when the unlock becomes active later this week.”
