The day has finally come; the day your Xbox Gamerscore will be worth something more than just bragging rights! If you are a member of the free service, Xbox Live Rewards, program will receive awards past that of the rewarding sound of points added to your account.
Now players with a Gamerscore over 3,000 points will earn special gifts on their birthday. Not only do players benefit during the month of their birthday but players who progressively get higher Gamerscore will also benefit. With each milestone you pass you will receive a new title or status. After a player reaches 10,000 gamer points they will not only earn the title of “champion” but they will also receive a 1 percent rebate on any purchase. Those of you who have 25,000 gamer points you will be named “Legend” and be rewarded with a 2 percent rebate.
Although it doesn’t sound like much, overtime it will add up and at least it more incentive to build that Gamerscore!

i really don’t understand the birthday thing and i am at champion level according to my xbox achievements, but the 1% thing i will take when twd comes out, but i do agree whats the point of the birthday thing with no idea on what it is i was reading the smal print and saying its like0.25 cents in retail cost.. so i think it might be avatar thing or at least something small
