GamersBliss.com has recently had the pleasure to attend Nintendo’s private event, The Wii U Experience. This was an event that any gamers around the world would have loved to attend, especially those of you who are anticipating the release of the Wii U system. The Wii U experience had the new Wii U systems on display with many games for people to get a hands-on experience with. All the festivities jammed into this event quickly proved to be a booming success!
There were several Wii U titles available to play at the event. ZombiU, Nintendoland, Pikmin 3, Batman: Arkham City, Game & Wario, New Super Mario Bros U, Rayman Legends as well as several other titles, were all set up to play. This was the first time that Nintendo has shown Nintendoland’s Mario Chase and Metroid Blast; both being a huge hit among attendees. The highly anticipated Wii U Pro Controller was even usable with a couple of games at the event. This controller was what a lot of hardcore fans wanted to see in use and this event did just that with some of the more hardcore titles on the floor.
Along with the slew of amazing titles there was a photo booth with Nintendo props on site for attendees to take Nintendo themed photos in. Props included Mario and Luigi hats, Rupees, a giant Yoshi, a plush Goomba, and several other Nintendo related items. To satisfy food craving there were many Nintendo treats available to eat periodically throughout the event. Treats included Special Wii U cookies, a Koopa Shell Cake Pop, and a chocolate mustache!
