Metal Gear Ground Zeroes Unveiled yet still unofficially unannounced.

Metal Gear Ground Zeroes Unveiled yet still unofficially unannounced.

Hideo Kojima was in attendance at the Metal Gear 25th anniversary event being held in Japan.  The event highlighted everything Metal Gear for the past 25 years as well as the future of the franchise.  Some of the future see’s the franchise dabbling in Social games as well as a new movie!

However one huge thing to hit was something called Metal Gear Ground Zeroes.  We are still unsure if the name has been properly translated as the game could also just be called Metal Gear Ground Zero.  The most exciting thing about this game is that a demo was shown up and running on current gen specs.  The title also uses the Fox Engine. DID WE MENTION THIS WILL BE AN OPEN WORLD METAL GEAR GAME?  This is huge news!

This is Mark McDonald a tweet from an Industry professional in attendance at the event.

“Demo of Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes, started w cutscene (all real time), went into gameplay, open world, night, raining, base, AMAZING… Snake crawled @ avoiding searchlights, killed guard, rode jeep, called in heli for evac.  Sounds like MG, but the scale and atmosphere… WOW”

Below is an Image of the from new title… still unofficially announced!

drkmn302 – be interesting to see how they incorporate the open world, will it be like AC, or fallouts. In away Im hoping its more a long the lines of the AC game style i.e. open world with the old Metal Gear gaming mechanics
