Today the peeps over at Meteor Entertainment announced that Hawken is going VR. This is thanks to the Oculus Rift VR headset, which you may remember was announced via Kickstarter. Well as of today the good team over at Oculus has raised almost $2 Million dollars! The VR headsets will allow gamers to experience Hawken in a new light with more immersion thanks to Virtual Reality.
Hawken will be teaming up with Doom BFG as one of the first games to support the VR headset. Oculus developers will be one of the first to experience Hawken in VR with the dev kits slated to release in December. However as of right now the headset for consumers are still TBD. Be damn sure that this Mech will get upgrading when the actual headset from Oculus Rift finally hits store selves.
