Drake

The adaptation of the Uncharted movie, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, has gotten a new writer and will also be obtaining a new director.

Writers of Disney’s National Treasure, Marianne and Cormac Wibberley, are rewriting the script. Both writers a highly experienced in the genera; aside from National Treasure they have worked on Charlie’s Angles: Full Throttle and TV series, Common Law.

The movie is getting yet another new director. Neil Burger, director of 2011’s hit Limitless, is no longer set to direct the film. Producers are waiting until the film is rewritten before deciding on a new director. This is will be the third director to work on the film, after Burger replaced David O. Russell earlier in production.

Mark Walberg is still set to play Nathan Drake. There is no other casting information available at this time.

Because of all the changes, it is rumored that the movie will be pushed back to later than 2013.
