Valve announced today that the 2nd annual Saxxy awards will take place again this year. All entries must be submitted starting November 1st and ending November 15 to one of five categories. Categories will include Best Action, Best Drama, Best Comedy, Best Original Universe, and Best Overall. Voting will then begin starting on November 16 and ending December 30, With Valve announcing the winners on December 31. The winners will receive a highly sought after Saxxy award in TF2 and the overall winner will be flown to Valve headquarters for a film making session with Valve and have their video on GTTV VGA preshow.
With the great success of the first one, it comes as no surprise that Valve will is hosting another Saxxy Awards contest. With the release of Source Filmmaker earlier this year, Submissions should be of very high quality this.
