It has been threaten that due to the building of a new football stadium in Los Angeles that the Electronic Entertainment Expo will be looking for a new location. Today it has been announced that one of gaming’s largest weeks of the year will remain in the city of Los Angles for at least another 3 years. This event has been hosted at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the majority of the time it’s been running and traditions are not soon going to be broken.
The event had thought about moving due to the lack of space during the construction of the new stadium. Some of the cities they were considering about moving to included New Orleans, New York and San Francisco. But today the Entertainment Software Association has signed into another three year contract at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This convention brings in an annual 40 million directly to the city of Los Angeles a year, and that’s not even counting the indirect cost of food and other supplies attendees get while in the city; so keeping E3 in the city is great news for Los Angeles!
