The Prometheus star Michael Fassbender is set to become an Assassin in the new movie for the Assassins Creed franchise. While no official date has been set or has the movie even started filming it is good to see the Creed is falling into good hands… I’m looking at you Peter Jackson and your Halo Movie! Not only will Fassbender star in the movie he is also the going to be the co-producer which should give Ubisoft Motion Pictures the Hollywood edge they desire.
Ubisoft doesn’t want to give their property to other hands so they can have full control of their Assassins Creed franchise. The film is still looking for a writer and a director so don’t get your hopes up and reserve your seats just yet. The new Assassin in the film, is not going to be any Assassin we may be familiar with playing such as Ezio, Altiar, Desmond or even the new recruit Connor.
