A Collector’s Edition of God of War: Ascension has been announced today. Although the game will not hit store shelves until March of 2013, pre-orders for the game are already available. With that being said Sony has announced a slew of pre-order goodies as well as a Collector’s Edition for the game.
One of the pre-order bonuses will be titles “Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack”. This exclusive pack will include the armor of Achilles, Orion, Perseus and Odysseus for God of War: Ascension’s brand new multiplayer online mode.
If you are a player who is interested in buying the Collector’s Edition of this game then you are in for a treat. The price of all the goodies in the Collector’s Edition along with the game will come up to around $80. The money spent on this game will go to good use however because this edition will include a steelbook game case, pass for future DLC, the games soundtrack and an eight inch statue of Kratos! For any diehard God of War fan, the Collector’s Edition will be the way to go, the mysteries of what DLC will be released should be incentive enough, not to mention the cool Kratos figure.
