Definitely the rifleman. The ammo box will come in handy if this is anything like other games I’ve played, and the attachments sound like they can be very beneficial in saving my butt!

  2. Doug Minall May 7, 2012 at 4:16 pm - Reply

Definitely Scout, the camo is where its at in this game. I found it a little hard to pick up they enemy. With scout it gave me a fraction of a second I needed for the kill.

  3. Daniel Paul May 9, 2012 at 5:07 pm - Reply

Undoubtedly the rifleman- the army is built of bods, men who get their boots muddy. The benefit is the weapons- assault rifles that have range, accuracy and a punch, and then the LMGs, that have alotta punch! Fire and manoeuvre requires suppression, and it’ll save your buddies lives. And lastly, keeping your fellow ghosts topped up.

All in all, the rifleman is the team player. used correctly that is. Some people are just lone wolves.

I would have to say most definitely the Scout. Any thing to do with sniper rifles and the chance for a 1 shot 1 kill is how I was trained in the military as a recon specialist. Nothing beats being able to take out the enemy without them even seeing you.

  5. Jose Gallardo May 10, 2012 at 10:19 am - Reply

Scout, because I like clean boots, haha. No but seriously, not only can you snipe, but you can also be difficult to target with camo by other snipers and those attacking from long range. With a good view of the battlefield, you can be your teams radar and save their arses. Covering fire can be provided as needed.

I would have to say the rifleman is my favorite class in multiplayer. The ACR is one hell of a weapon when you give it a grip and an ACOG sight. I can take targets down from across the river in Mill with ease and has great maneuverability in close quarters. Hoping to continue having fun with the class when the game release on the 22nd!

  9. Cj May 14, 2012 at 1:18 am - Reply

Rifleman. Laying down support for the team and later on after ranking up I’m excited to get the turret that’s going help lay down some firepower protecting like an objective.

My favorite class is the Engineer. I am not the best at sniping, and I am not a run-n-gun kind of guy. I usually rack up points through non-kill methods in most games. For example in Battlefield 3, I get a ton of points by capturing bases and spotting enemies. I usually finish matches with 2 or 3 kills, while still getting MVP of the game because of my total points.

I imagine I will have that same strategy in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. I will use the UAV to spot enemies and do other actions where I can help out my team, without dying a whole lot.

I was not able to receive a beta code so I haven’t played it yet, but it looks like a really good game. Who knows, maybe I’ll be lucky enough to win this contest!

  11. Matt W. May 14, 2012 at 6:58 pm - Reply

Mine would be the scout, just because you can sneak behind people, snipe people in there faces, and capture intel/objectives while being hidden.

  12. Drake May 14, 2012 at 7:46 pm - Reply

rifleman…i can give my team ammo, use gernade lauchers and can counter-snipe enemy players. nothing is more satisfying that droping an enemie with a semi auto assult rifle with 4x scope.

  13. matt May 14, 2012 at 9:57 pm - Reply

    Rifleman seems pretty interesting

  14. LoveStruckBeast May 14, 2012 at 11:40 pm - Reply

Engineer sounds like it would be fun. Knowing where enemies are and rolling around with a shotgun is ok in my book.

  15. Vash May 15, 2012 at 3:17 am - Reply

Id say the rifleman cause itl Benifits me with not having to worry about ammo as well as my team to not also but mainly I can throw a large amount of rounds down range suppressing multiple targets assisting my teammates get across a open plain.

  16. Sam May 15, 2012 at 10:39 am - Reply

I’d have to go with Scout. Active camo? Check. Sniper rifle? Double check. Stun mine? Well, I’d probably never use them, but triple check!

  17. Eddie May 15, 2012 at 4:33 pm - Reply

The scout without a doubt is the best class in Ghost Recon. It completely emphasizes on what a sniper has to be and that is stealthy and invisible. This game by far has one of the best sniper mechanics in game today. Being able to stand out in the open and still not be seen is perfect!

  18. Jack May 15, 2012 at 6:16 pm - Reply

I think the recon is my favorite, because of the available versatility between sniper rifles and submachine guns has a lot of use on the field. Also the active camo has massive tactical use, with hiding while spotting and eliminating enemies. Overall with the combinatino of stealth, long range death, and close range devastation makes the recon the best class of Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

  19. RandomAlec May 16, 2012 at 11:53 am - Reply

Favorite class is definitely rifleman, I feel like if I don’t play the class that gives ammo, not many people will bother to drop ammo themselves. I was a great rifleman in the beta and I enjoyed some of the weapons and unlocks very much. I can’t wait for the game!

    Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

I forgot to add the runner up choices if I win one, either a copy of the game on Xbox 360 would be good, or the GRFS GUNNAR glasses. :) Thanks again!

Anything that isn’t Call o Duty right now is ok with me. I havent played a Ghost Recon game since the 360 came out but I’m willin to check this out. oh and that headset looks pretty kool, kinda like the Gears ones which i wish I had.

  21. Jakob Arnold May 17, 2012 at 10:23 pm - Reply

definitely the scout. i’m mean think about it your on a roof top looking down your scope and no one can see you cause you have active camo, and then you see an enemy who’s thinking “all i’m all boss, no one can see me, i’m just trolling these noo..” boom head shot.and also someone will think “all look at me i’m running so fast no one can catch up to m..” zap….. stun mine…. sucker…. looks who’s fast now.

i think it would be really fun to use that class and i think it would be good to support your team.

  22. Jakob Arnold May 17, 2012 at 10:39 pm - Reply

forgot to add. if im a runner up i would like to have the Mad Catz braided wire Xbox 360 Controller/Pro Game Pad with the exclusive combat button layout including two backside buttons for remapping button/thumb-stick commands, back-lit analog stick modules, ergonomic non-slip pistol grips and quick fire triggers. (i just copied all this from the top of the page)

  23. Aj Beam May 19, 2012 at 12:15 pm - Reply

My favorite class in this game has to be the scout class. Although cloaking has been in the shooter class genre long before this game, I think it could be this games icon in the future simply due to the fact that the game is called “GHOST Recon.” The player can truly be a ghost now.

  24. Rene Guillermo May 20, 2012 at 2:21 pm - Reply

I put in a lot of time with all of the classes. Each one has some pretty cool un-lockable features.
I would have to say my favorite so far is the Engineer class.
I’m having a great time with the UAV. Especially when the other team has no clue about it and then wonders why my team knows where everyone is.
The Scout offers some cool gadgets as well with the stun gun and then can hack Intel from the incapacitated soldier. I also like the comments he makes while he’s hacking the Intel. Something like “How’s it going buddy?” Classic!
The flashbang is really effective in large groups of enemies and lasts for what seems like forever.
And the melee kills are gruesome. I find myself cringing whenever my throat ever gets cut!
Didn’t really get enough time with the Rifleman class but I’m looking forward to mowing down anyone in the sights of the LMG.

If I win the runner up I would choose the game and the controller :D

      • Kevin Pratt May 20, 2012 at 7:07 pm - Reply

Oh also the runner up part :D , well first I would love the headset as I still haven’t had any headsets, as for a runner up, I would have to say the Ghost Recon Future Soldier game would be cool.

  25. Shadey Spade May 21, 2012 at 2:42 am - Reply

Definitely the Engineer. Supporting your team with intel devices is certainly the way to go.

  26. Corey Grumley May 21, 2012 at 4:48 pm - Reply

The Engineer because the UAV gives you so much points.

  27. Aditya Rawat May 22, 2012 at 5:27 pm - Reply

Engineer all the way for me,
I am not so good at frontlines, and also totally suck at sniping, aiming is too hard for me,
I prefer more of a tactical play and helping my team with UAV and using turrents on defensive postion,
and SMG works great on short-mid range so
    its my class as always

    Engineer all the way,
Whats better than supporting your team to win, rather than racking up points for self, because in long run its team victories that count.
I never was good at sniping nor at front,
and engineer is the best choice due to tactical feel it gives,
Marking enemies with UAV, and keeping turret guns at high activity yet hard to spot area,
oh and whats even better is that you are able to make friends too.

Scout is my favorite – From what of the Beta I played, every body died in 1 shot (which is stupid) So the Scout’s camo really helped me kill other people in …1 shot XD I hope they change that in the full game. But thanks for the giveaway guys!

    • Darklurkr23 May 22, 2012 at 9:11 pm - Reply

O yea just the email followup thing forgot to click it

  30. Eazy E May 22, 2012 at 11:45 pm - Reply

The scout class is the best, who doesn’t like sniping prone while invisible

  31. Brad May 23, 2012 at 6:05 am - Reply

Rifleman – since it has great assault rifles and also the Mk48 which can be used for a nice sniper rifle. A shame it has no cloak though, or the Goblin.

  32. Aaron May 23, 2012 at 1:23 pm - Reply

im goin with Engineer, because you can go in guns blazing or you can hang back and use the UAV to help your team. plus with the right use of the UAV and Sensors you give yourself and your team a much better situational awareness.

  33. Daniel May 23, 2012 at 6:13 pm - Reply

My class is the scout ,mostly for being one of the most deadly person in the game for being in camo hiding and waiting for my opponent’s and sniping them or sneaking up on them and stunning them :) them , so much fun, the beta was really fun , love the series and thanks for the contest :) hope i win.

  34. Anon May 24, 2012 at 3:23 am - Reply

The Engineer, for sub-machine type guns, sensors detecting enemies in the general vicinity for a certain amount of time, and UAV’s to fly around spotting enemies for team-mates.

  35. Ricardo May 24, 2012 at 6:58 am - Reply

Scout of course. You can’t shoot what you can’t see and when the Ghost is on the move, there is nowhere for the bad guys to hide

  36. Steve May 24, 2012 at 8:44 am - Reply

The scout hands down! It’s always really fun to be a sneaky sniper bitch. I decided that was my favourite in the Beta, even though I did just get killed all the time. There’s a great mix up of short and long range as well which is fun.

  37. Peter Donnell May 24, 2012 at 3:44 pm - Reply

Rifleman for me, I love getting up close and personal and doing the dirty work, loads more fun :D

  38. Steve May 24, 2012 at 6:01 pm - Reply

  40. jordan May 25, 2012 at 11:52 pm - Reply

Honestly, what started off as my least favorite class eventually turned into my favorite..the Engineer has some great weapons once they’re specced out properly and in my opinion some of the coolest unlocks as you level. Also, having a sensor to throw is always handy.

  41. Chris May 26, 2012 at 1:57 am - Reply

Scout. Nothing beats camo. Cue music from Predator.

  42. Londyn May 26, 2012 at 2:58 pm - Reply

The Engineer sub machine guns and sensors that can cover majority of the map peek a boo I see you not to mention the sun glasses <(-_-<)

  43. Daniel May 26, 2012 at 4:07 pm - Reply

I would definatly take the engineer. He is a good mix between mid range fighting and (when upgraded) long range survailance and destruction. Using the scanner grenades, he can detect all enemies in the radius of about 30 meters from the grenade, even uncoverering the Scouts camo, making the live for his teammates and himself easier. When the Turret is unlocked, the engineer can also work as two soldiers, using the scanner/scanner grenades for the turret and himself to uncover the enemies and then using either the turret or his sub-machine gune to take out the enemies in his way.

Short, the engineer is the perfect class for:

    1. Blocking strategic positions
    2. (Artificially) increase the number of gunns of a team, making killing easier
    3. Help team mates spot hidden enemies or enemies behind cover, saving a lot of lifes.

Even shorter: Engineer is the best class to choose for both team and lone wolf gamers.

  44. Juan Carlos May 27, 2012 at 11:40 am - Reply

The Scout because Sniper Rifles Rules.

  45. smokey May 27, 2012 at 6:16 pm - Reply

Engineer because as a sweety gamer its all about the win for me lol the drone is so useful that it can easly change the tides plus the shotguns are soooooo dirty.

  46. Tim Redden May 27, 2012 at 9:00 pm - Reply

Engineer- I love being able to recon the field for my team to assist them getting the objective, then defending it. Between the UAV, and sensor grenades, and the capability to hack the opposition, which reveals their entire team for a while or till they have been eliminated.

  47. goverland May 28, 2012 at 2:16 pm - Reply

Engineer class as I like to throw out a sensor and the flank while my squad mates surpress and hold the identified targets

  48. Mischa-Lee May 29, 2012 at 7:48 am - Reply

Rifleman – Love running assult rifles in either a run & gun or team lock down situations. And then there’s the added bonus of re-supplying yourself and teammates with ammo, also with increased armor you can enter a fight with a little more confidence of coming out on top :-)

  49. Matthew May 29, 2012 at 11:51 am - Reply

Rifleman all the way baby backbone of the infantry!

  50. Ninjeska May 30, 2012 at 11:02 am - Reply

Mmm dat scout. I love sniping as it is (maybe it’s because i don’t get shot at point-blank as often) but adding the active camouflage to it? Genius. I feel like a freakin chameleon. A chameleon with a big powerful gun that is. And that, is badass.

    • Ninjeska May 30, 2012 at 11:24 am - Reply

PS. I’m not eligible as I’m not in the US/Canada. I just wanted to contribute because Scout is the shiznit.

      • Shaun Ray May 30, 2012 at 12:36 pm - Reply

its obvious your a scout becuase you are the shiznit!

  51. Jessica Griesemer May 31, 2012 at 4:39 pm - Reply

Definitely the Engineer class, because I am a team player and the UAV is a great thing to help out your team. I never play multiplayer without thinking of my team. It’s a team objective to win, so I do anything I can to help my team in winning.

  52. Brandon May 31, 2012 at 7:03 pm - Reply

My favorite class setup? It has to go to the engineer because as much as i like to sit back and camp with my cloak of invisibility, i like to run and gun it! capturing objectives is what i do best. :)

  53. Justis gauthier June 1, 2012 at 12:15 am - Reply

I am an engineer because there is nothing like tosing a sensor and one shoting how ever you see with a shotgun, then th sub gun as a backup.

Definitely Scout! I love being all sneaky and picking off my enemies silently haha. :D

Thermal scopes would be amazingly useful too. ;)
